Cindy Thomas grew up in west Texas but has lived in Cincinnati, Ohio for the past 10 years. Cindy graduated from the University of Louisville with a Masters Degree in Exercise Physiology and has devoted her professional career to helping others achieve their health and fitness goals through improving the performance of athletes, teaching group fitness classes, personal training, and developing future fitness enthusiast through higher education...

Crossfit Bootcamp

Time: Sunday 10:00am - 11:00am

Location: Queen City Crossfit

Description: Crossfit Bootcamp is a total body workout to improve your overall fitness level in the shortest amount of time. The 60-minute class starts with a functional movement warm up followed by mobility. Bootcamp WOD’s (Workout of the Day) are constantly varied with Crossfit elements such as running, rowing, bodyweight exercise, plyometrics, kettlebells, wall balls, and more. Crossfit Bootcamp workouts do not incorporate heavy strength training or any barbell movements like the traditional Crossfit classes. Open to all fitness levels. Pre-registration is required. 

Cost: First class is FREE or $20/class (class passes available) 

Crossfit Bootcamp

Turbo Kick LIVE

Time: Wednesday 7:00pm - 7:45pm

Location: Washington Park

Description: Turbo Kick LIVE is a total body cardio sculpt class. This 45-minute choreographed workout is packed with 5-minute blocks of kickboxing combinations followed by 60 seconds of full body high intensity intervals and planned recovery.  This format builds its routine from week to week giving you the opportunity to learn and grow with each workout. A new routine is taught every 6-8 weeks. Open to all fitness levels.  Bring a water bottle and comfortable shoes, this workout is outside and taught on grass. Open to all fitness levels. 

Cost: Class is FREE!

Workout on the Green

A fast way to burn calories and increase your cardio fitness. This 50-minute class is filled with combinations of flats, hills, climbs, lifts, and sprints set to a fly playlist. Matrix indoor bikes are compatible with SPD clip cycling shoes. All bikes have monitors that measure RPM, power, and intensity. There are 27 bikes available, pre-registraton is required.  Non-members may download a FREE Guest Pass and bring a drivers license to utilize the facility for the day.

Location: Snap Fitness

Description: Full Body Sculpt incorporates the best of strength training and core training to shape and tone your entire body. The 45-minute class is a one-of-kind routine that will improve muscle endurance. Open to all fitness levels. 

Cost: $10/class for non-Snap Fitness members.
